Amedica Corporation announced the appointment of Jeff White it its board of directors.

With more than 35 years of experience, White has been instrumental in the development and growth of various companies in the surgical device and biomaterial industry.

White is currently principle at Medtech Advisory Group LLC. Prior to founding Medtech, White served as global director of business development for Synthes and co-founded two medical device companies including Applied Spine Technologies Inc., where he led efforts to develop innovative spinal devices for patients suffering from spinal injuries and degeneration. He has also held various positions with US Surgical Corporation and Richard Allan Medical Industries Inc. White is a member of AOSpine and the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery.
