ChoiceSpine LP announced the launch of its Typhoon Facet Screw Fixation System for arthrodesis and posterior stabilization of the lumbar spine.

The Typhoon Facet Screw Fixation System is intended to stabilize the spine as an aid to fusion through bilateral immobilization of the facet joints, with or without bone graft, at single or multiple levels, from L1 to S1 inclusive. According to a company press release, the system is available in 4.5-mm and 5.5-mm screw diameters with a wide variety of screw lengths to accommodate variations of the anatomy as well as location in the spine.

“This is another stepping stone in the growth and customer focus of our business,” Rick Henson, principal of ChoiceSpine, stated in the release. “This system adds another product offering into the ChoiceSpine portfolio to better serve our distributors and surgeons.”
