Aurora Spine Corporation has appointed Eric Fronk as the company’s new chief financial officer and Kenneth Gross as chief operating officer.

Fronk was previously chief financial officer of Digital Interactive Systems. He began his career with Ernst and Young and Pricewaterhouse Coopers, where he worked primarily in high-tech and pharmaceutical industries. He was also part of the team that prepared Alphatec Spine Inc. for its initial public offering (IPO) in 2006 and was part of the team that led the restructuring of Peregrine Systems Corp. from 2002-2005.

Gross will now assume the position of chief operating officer where he will be responsible for the alignment and prioritization of company investments, product manufacturing and operational excellence.

“With our successful IPO, product manufacturing and the pending U.S. launch, we knew we needed the right leaders to take us to the next level of our business’ evolution,” Trent J. Northcutt, chief executive officer of Aurora Spine, stated in a company press release. “Between Eric’s public experience in financial management, and Ken’s strategic operation vision, we have created the right infrastructure to support our progression into the industry leader of advanced minimally invasive spinal technology.”
