U.K.-founded Corin Australia, a global manufacturer of orthopedic implants, and Optimized Ortho, an Australian-owned medical technology company, entered an exclusive partnership to launch innovative delivery platforms for total hip replacement products.

Optimized Ortho announced in a press release that is will now offer surgeons and patients preoperative, dynamic tailored information, which allow the orthopedic surgeon to customize implants for patients based on the individual’s biomechanics.

“Corin is a well-organized, innovative supplier of products customized to the needs of Australian and New Zealand surgeons and patients,” Bede O’Connor, Managing Director of Optimized Ortho, stated in the press release, noting that the Commercialisation Australia program assisted his company reach it critical commercialization milestone.

Jonathan Lettin, President of Corin Australia and New Zealand, welcomed the new partnership. “We are delighted to be working with Optimized Ortho that offers a suite of sophisticated planning tools that may be used in conjunction with Corin’s total hip replacement products, to optimize patient outcomes in joint replacement,” he stated in the release.
