Rotation Medical Inc announced the appointment of Martha Shadan as president and chief executive officer and co-founder Tom Westling as chairman of the board and chief operating officer.

Shadan brings more than three decades of marketing and commercialization expertise to Rotation Medical’s executive team from her senior executive positions at several medical device companies, including Zimmer and Covidien.

“I am very proud of what we have built here at Rotation, and I look forward to working with Martha as the company begins an exciting new chapter in its growth,” Westling stated in a company press release. “Martha brings the right leadership at the right time, and her strong sales and marketing acumen will be an invaluable asset on our path to commercial success.”
