Steven Ek named president, CEO of Arthrosurface

The board of directors of Arthrosurface named Steven Ek as the company’s president and chief executive officer.

One of the original founders in Arthrosurface and a director since inception, Ek spent 25 years in executive positions in operations and product development, including vice president of engineering at STD Med Inc., and director of research and development for Smith & Nephew.

“We are pleased to name Steve Ek as Arthrosurface president and chief executive office,” Steve Tallarida, chairman of the board of Arthrosurface, stated in a company press release. “He knows our products and industry extremely well. Since launching the company in 2002, Steve has proven to be a highly effective leader, and he has won the confidence of employees, customers and the Board. We are excited about Arthrosurface’s future under Steve and believe our shareholders and customers will benefit from his dedication and focus.”
