Spinelab Ltd. and Biomet EMEA, a division of Biomet Inc., announced a distribution agreement where Biomet will have exclusive distribution rights for Spinelab’s pedicle screw based posterior elastic stabilization system, Elaspine, in Spain and Portugal.

“The agreement with Biomet is a major step in the commercialization strategy of Spinelab. The exclusive contract gives us access to one of the largest and best sales forces in the market. We are excited to work with such a distinguished partner as Biomet to bring Elaspine to the Spanish and Portuguese market,” Thomas Zehnder, president and chief executive officer of Spinelab, stated in a company press release.
