Medartis announced in a press release the launch of its Aptus Wrist Arthrodesis System.

According to the release, the system is designed to address the complexities of limited and total wrist fusions. The Arthrodesis system incorporates the patented TriLock multidirectional locking technology in the new plate designs specific for four-corner fusions, scaphotrapeziotrapezoidal fusions, radioscapholunate fusions and total wrist fusions.

“The Arthrodesis System fills a void in the field to provide surgeons with various intraoperative solutions. As an overall organization, Medartis continues to focus on providing solutions to challenging and unique cases,” Norman Eckley, president of Medartis, stated in the release.
