Symmetry Medical Inc. received 510k clearance from the FDA for its Flash Pak Evolution valve.

According to a company press release, the Evolution valve is the next generation valve for the immediate use sterilization product, the Flash Pak. The valve’s stainless steel construction is designed for simplicity of care. Symmetry Surgical distributes the valve.

“Making care and maintenance of our products easy is a key mission of Symmetry Surgical. The Evolution valve brings a new level of innovation to our market-leading Flask Pak, a product that clinicians have grown to depend on for more than 20 years,” Chris Huntington, chief operating officer of Symmetry Surgical, stated in the release.
