Total Knee Arthroplasty: What Works Best?

Despite the overwhelming success of total knee arthroplasty (TKA), most would agree that there is room for improvement. With demand for this procedure rising to almost unimaginable levels, an improved understanding of how to best serve patients with knee arthritis is critical. Although much is known, several key questions still remain unanswered. Many of the articles in this issue of the Journal of Knee Surgery attempt to address some of the key questions about how knee arthroplasty should best be approached to optimize patient outcomes.
