Stryker launches mobile training center in China
Stryker has announced the launch of a mobile training center to bring hands-on training, product demonstrations and after-sales service to health care professionals in small cities and remote locations throughout China.
The mobile training center is a convertible truck equipped with Stryker’s medical technology and educational resources that will reportedly provide a classroom and lab environment for health care professionals, according to a company press release. Stryker’s training and education team will accompany the training cener and provide systematic education programs for health care professionals as it tours China.
“Health care resources are primarily concentrated in China’s largest cities,” William Jin, managing director of Stryker Greater China, stated in the release. “Surgeons and other health care professionals in smaller cities lack access to advanced medical technology and the opportunity to learn new clinical techniques due to deficiencies in funding and facility space. Stryker is the first medical technology company in China to provide a mobile training solution, a breakthrough in the medical device education and training industry in China.”
