OrthoWorx launches feasibility study for orthopedic specialty hospital

OrthoWorx’s board of directors announced that it will be conducting a feasibility study to create a nonprofit orthopedic specialty hospital in Warsaw, Ind. According to a press release, the goal of the study is to further define the business case, create a funding strategy and determine partnership opportunities for the hospital’s construction, operation and maintenance and medical education components.

“This concept is exciting, and we want to fully explore its feasibility,” Suzanne Light, executive director for Kosciusko County Community Foundation and a member of the OrthoWorx board of directors, stated in the release. “While this project could be significant to our local orthopedic industry, it could be even more important to our community. It is exciting that this study could lead to a resource that advances research and innovation and could improve patient care and health care outcomes for patients worldwide.”
