Lanx Inc. named six members to its surgeon advisory board. The board will provide strategic guidance on product commercialization, clinical studies and medical education, according to a press release.

The new surgeons are Andrew Cappuccino, MD; Massimo Balsano, MD; Richard G. Fessler, MD, PhD; Andrew Freese, MD, PhD; Jeffrey Oppenheim, MD and Vikas Patel, MD.

“Our newly assembled board has made significant contributions in advancing minimally invasive spine (MIS) surgery techniques, and we are excited to collaborate with them to further advance MIS solutions in the global spine market,” Dan Gladney, chairman and chief executive officer of Lanx, stated in a company press release.
