DJO Global introduces new products at AAOS
DJO Global, Inc. announced that it will showcase several new surgical products at the 2012 American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons in San Francisco.
DJO will be highlighting its new RSP Monoblock shoulder system, an expansion of its Reverse Shoulder Prosthesis system that now includes use for fractures. They will also introduce the Movation Total Knee Arthroplasty system, which utilizes innovative instrumentation that allows for simple and reproducible results for knee arthroplasty surgery. The third product is the Revelation microMAX hip system. The shortened stem allows for placement of the device with minimal bone and tissue loss and is ideal for all surgical approaches.
DJO also announced that it has finalized its US distribution partnership with Lima Corporate, which was first initiated in 2009.
“We are excited to be introducing three major new products at this year’s AAOS meeting,” Bryan Monroe, senior vice president and general manager of DJO Surgical, stated in a press release. “These new products, combined with additional products added to our US distribution partnership with Lima Corporate, will expand and strengthen our offerings in all three of our major product segments: knees, hips and shoulders.”
