EyePrint Prosthetics, Advanced Vision Technologies and Wave Contact Lens System have combined to form Wave Eye Care, a new specialty contact lenses division, according to a press release.

“With over 50 years of combined expertise in designing and manufacturing fully customized contact lenses, our mission is clear — to provide the best specialty contact lens solutions for every patient,” Michael Wolber, CEO at Wave Eye Care, said in the release.

The new division will offer a comprehensive set of tools, hands-on training and professional support designed to improve patient outcomes, including:

  1. EyePrint impression technology (EyePrint Prosthetics), which will allow for accurate management of complex corneal irregularities;
  2. advanced computer-aided design/manufacturing software, for precise lens creation with the use of the topography-based Wave lens designer; and
  3. collaborative consulting, so practitioners can partner with experienced consultants to create custom lens designs based on individual requirements.
