ATLANTA — In this video, Luis Rojas, OD, a practitioner in McKinney, Texas, explains how he chooses contact lenses by combining a patient’s objective findings from the comprehensive exam with subjective findings or visual task requirements.

Rojas told Healio during SECO 100 that he prefers the Acuvue Oasys Max 1-Day with blue light filter, explaining that patients who use computers benefit from the lens, as do older patients who experience haloes, starbursts and glare at night.

“One of the other innovative technologies in the Max 1-Day lens has been the tear stable technology and how it’s able to lower evaporation,” he added.
