BARCELONA, Spain — In this Healio Video Perspective from the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons meeting, Alan R. Faulkner, MD, shares his experience with the Ally system from Lensar for femtosecond cataract surgery.

“AI is used in this laser to image the lens, determine a 3D model and determine, based on the lens density from Scheimpflug images, exactly what laser pattern to perform,” he said.

The laser wirelessly integrates with multiple devices, and a proprietary technology allows for precise alignment of toric IOLs.

“The other thing I love about the laser is its very small footprint, and it is very fast and reliable,” Faulkner said.
