WAILEA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2024, Jay S. Pepose, MD, PhD, discusses ocular dominance.
Pepose said there is a difference between hand or foot dominance and eye dominance, which is not always straightforward to determine. Pepose and colleagues conducted a multicenter trial to compare different techniques of determining ocular dominance.
“We have to rethink the whole paradigm of ocular dominance,” he said. “It’s very pertinent with regard to monovision.”
