WAILEA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2024, Renee Bovelle, MD, discusses the benefits of using Iyuzeh to treat glaucoma while not inducing dry eye.

Iyuzeh (Thea Pharma) is a preservative-free formulation of latanoprost to reduce elevated IOP in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

“This drug gives us the opportunity to prevent preservative-induced ocular surface disease while at the same time treating glaucoma,” Bovelle said. “With Iyuzeh, you have excellent access to care and your patients can get good coverage, reduce their IOP and not trade one problem for another.”
