WAILEA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2024, Sumit “Sam” Garg, MD, discusses the Tecnis Eyhance monofocal IOL from Johnson & Johnson Vision and how it can fit into a practice’s cataract surgery tool kit.
“A couple of aspects of the lens that I really like is that it gives great distance vision, like the whole Tecnis platform, but with that you also get some usable intermediate vision,” he said. “In my practice, I will typically offset one of the eyes, the nondominant eye generally, to give a little bump in that intermediate vision or near vision.”
