VIDEO: Augmented reality surgery adopts intraoperative OCT
ROME — In this Healio Video Perspective from the FLORetina-ICOOR meeting, Anat Loewenstein, MD, presents intraoperative OCT, a new feature of the Beyeonics One ophthalmic exoscope.
Beyeonics One (Beyeonics Vision) provides magnified visualization of the surgical field through an augmented reality surgical headset.
“Now we are reporting on the development of intraoperative OCT that will be high resolution with minimal latency and will help very much the surgeon in the treatment decisions during surgery,” Loewenstein said.
