KOLOA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2023, Laura M. Periman, MD, discusses slit lamp investigation techniques to more effectively scan for Demodex blepharitis.
“Some patients are exceptionally good at their lid hygiene, and you won’t find the Demodex blepharitis there,” she said. “But take that second to slow down and pan just a little bit across the nasal bridge, and you may just find other collarettes of the face.”
