KOLOA, Hawaii — In this Healio Video Perspective from Hawaiian Eye 2023, John P. Berdahl, MD, discusses his strategy for meeting the needs of an unhappy refractive cataract patient.
“We’re too quick to blame the patient for being unhappy,” he said. Rather, there is likely a reason a patient is dissatisfied with their visual outcome, including refractive error, dryness, posterior capsule opacification, positive dysphotopsias or a problematic near point.
