Nale (retired) served as a medical journalist and editor for Healio from 2008 to 2024.

 

Having spent several years as executive editor for Ocular Surgery News and Healio | OSN, which has earned numerous APEX and other medical journalism awards, Nale was tapped to lead a talented content support team as editorial director of Quality Assurance and Training, supporting content development across the Healio brand.

 

Nale received her BS in journalism from Boston University and worked the balance of her career as a newspaper editor, as a technical writer/editor in the defense industry, and as an editor for medical publishers in the Philadelphia area.

 

Nale is certified as an editor in the life sciences by the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (BELS).
