VIDEO: RGX-314 gene therapy shows promise in diabetic retinopathy treatment
In this Healio Video Perspective, Lejla Vajzovic, MD, FASRS, discusses promising 6-month data from the ALTITUDE trial investigating RGX-314 gene therapy for the treatment of diabetic retinopathy.
“A one-time in-office procedure with RGX-314 gene therapy delivery could potentially provide a long-lasting improvement in diabetic retinopathy severity and reduce the risk of vision-threatening complications,” she said.
The data were presented at the Retina Society meeting.
