VIDEO: Home OCT offers sufficient image quality, aids with management of wet AMD
In this Healio Video Perspective from the Retina Society meeting, Anat Loewenstein, MD, discusses an analysis of a digital health model involving Home OCT to monitor patients with neovascular age-related macular degeneration.
“Ninety-five percent of the patients were compliant and able to scan on the Home OCT, with sufficient image quality and the ability to use fluid volume as a biomarker to objectively manage neovascular age-related macular degeneration treatment in terms of the drug and regimen of treatment chosen,” Loewenstein said.
