MILAN — In this video at the ESCRS meeting, Arthur Cummings, MD, suggests ways to streamline the process of IOL choice and informed consent by delegating some of the tasks to digital means.

He also speaks about Vivior’s Visual Behavior Monitor, a wearable sensor that provides measurable data on patients’ use of vision and objective criteria to select IOLs. Patients wear it for a few days to take records of the activities that are more commonly performed in their daily life and reflect their actual visual needs.
