The annual conference of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology will highlight strategies to improve hospital infection prevention practices and efforts to increase infection prevention and control staffing.

The meeting, which runs from June 26 to 28, will also feature keynote speeches by several experts, including Peter J. Hotez, MD, PhD, DSc, codirector of the Texas Children Hospital Center for Vaccine Development, who will talk about developing low-cost vaccines and the expanding anti-vaccine movement.
