Radiologist joins Vanderbilt University Medical Center
Shanna Matalon, MD, has been appointed associate professor in the department of radiology and radiological sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Matalon previously served as an instructor in the department of radiology at Harvard Medical School, associate program director and chair of resident recruitment for the diagnostic radiology residency program, and associate program director for the interventional radiology residency program, according to a press release.

She completed her radiology residency and fellowship in abdominal imaging and intervention at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Matalon received several honors and awards as a trainee and attending, and served as mentor for medical students, residents, fellows and junior faculty, according to the release.
