PHILADELPHIA — In this video, Cassie Kline, MD, MAS, highlights keynote addresses from International Symposium on Pediatric Neuro-Oncology.
Keynote speaker Leigh Hochberg, MD, PhD, discussed the use of implantable devices to restore function in patients; Charles Limoli, PhD, reviewed the use of FLASH radiotherapy; and William Sellers, MD, highlighted the importance of novel therapeutic vulnerabilities and combining targeted agents to create novel treatments for tumors.
“In many ways, [these keynotes] helped our audience — myself included — really think about how we might get more creative or think outside the box in exploring solutions or the next phase of therapies for our patients,” Kline, a pediatric neuro-oncology attending and director of neuro-oncology clinical research at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, said.
