PHILADELPHIA — In this video, Michael Fisher, MD, highlights the sessions and presentations at the International Symposium on Pediatric Neuro-Oncology.

Over 1,300 physicians, nurses and other health care professionals in the pediatric neurology and oncology specialties attended the three-and-a-half-day conference that hosted a variety of topic-specific discussions and lectures, three keynote speakers and 175 poster presentations.

“The education day was a fantastic group of talks,” Fisher, a professor of pediatrics at University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine, said. “We got a lot of great feedback that had updates in general [neuro-oncology] issues, updates in cancer predisposition, focus on novel therapeutics and even the new side effects that we’re seeing.”
