In this video, Jia Luo, MD, spoke with Healio about results from her study on the safety of biopsies presented at International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer World Conference on Lung Cancer.

“We looked at about 300 individuals who underwent core needle biopsies within our system and found that these procedures were largely safe,” Luo, thoracic medical oncologist and cancer researcher with Dana-Farber and Harvard Medical School, said.

The data is under review and expected to be published soon.
