Charu Aggarwal, MD, MPH, said her interest in joining Healio’s Women in Oncology Peer Perspective Board stemmed from the need to provide women in medicine with opportunities for peer mentorship, collaboration and sponsorship.

“I’m especially interested in creating a platform for amplifying women not just in academic medicine but in community oncology, as well as our partners in the industry,” Aggarwal said. “The goal is to pull each other up and increase visibility for women in medicine, especially oncology.”
