SANTA FE, N.M. — In this video exclusive, Azeez Farooki, MD, discusses considerations when dealing with bone loss and elevated fracture risk resulting from treatments for breast and prostate cancer.

Farooki, an endocrinologist, is an attending physician at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.

“It’s important to communicate with our oncology colleagues to collaborate and form treatment plans and help them manage fracture risk in both of these types of cancer patients,” Farooki told Healio.
