FDA approves new insulin pump
The FDA has approved a new interactive insulin pump for patients with diabetes. The system combines a glucose meter with an insulin pump that can exchange data in both directions via wireless technology and allows for remote operation.
The product is manufactured by Roche, which received its second FDA clearance this year for a diabetes product.
