The care differs also from the psychosocial aspect because we have to have a different or a more careful approach towards pediatric patients because they are developing. Their self-image probably is affected more than somebody who's otherwise had better self-esteem as an adult. But as far as the actual treatments go, topicals are the way to go most of the times. There are creams, solutions of corticosteroids, and also intralesional corticosteroids are very commonly used and they're quite safe. In fact, immunotherapy that I had mentioned for adults is also a good option. It has its own pros and cons but often in children it works as a pretty good option.
