Migraine With Aura

Among combined hormonal contraceptive users, those with a history of migraine without aura had a significantly increased risk for ischemic stroke compared with those without a history of migraine, data show.

DENVER – Individuals who had migraine with aura were more likely to have atrial fibrillation compared with those who had a migraine without aura, a presenter said at the American Headache Society annual meeting.

Aimovig appeared safe and effective for treating migraine with and without history of aura, according to results of a secondary analysis of randomized clinical trials published in JAMA Neurology.
