NEW ORLEANS — In this video exclusive, Anuja Dokras, MD, PhD, highlights 2023 updates to the International Evidence-based Guideline for the Assessment and Management of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.
Dokras is professor of obstetrics and gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and director of the Penn Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Center and an author of the guideline.
The 2023 guideline supports the Rotterdam criteria for diagnosis, which are now evidence-based. Dokras reviews those criteria and an updated screening algorithm, and she ends with recommendations for women seeking pregnancy.
