ANAHEIM, Calif. — In this video exclusive, ASRM President-Elect Michael A. Thomas, MD, discusses his vision for the organization in the coming year.
Thomas, who is also chair of the OB/GYN department at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, said he specifically wants to give voice to people of diverse backgrounds, such as people of color, LGBTQ+ people and donor-conceived people.
“We want everyone to eventually have a voice in our field,” Thomas told Healio.
He also highlighted the importance of patient access to reproductive endocrinology specialists and working with state legislatures and advocacy organizations to ensure access to reproductive health care.
