In this video, Manpreet Kaur Singh, MD, MS, an associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at Stanford University, spoke with Healio about her presentation on diagnosing and treating bipolar disorder at the 2022 NEI Congress.

“As a lifespan psychologist, it is important that we understand the earliest presentations of bipolar disorder and how they continue into adulthood, recognizing that clinical presentation across the lifespan can give us some very important insights on critical windows on when to intervene and also harness tools that can allow us to screen better for mania through the course of a patient’s life," Singh said.
