VIDEO: How cannabis policies will affect psychiatric practice

NEW ORLEANS — Twenty-nine states and Washington D.C. have medical cannabis policies and 9 states and Washington, D.C. have legalized recreational cannabis policies in place.

“It’s critical for psychiatrists and other mental health clinicians to become comfortable with this fairly complex topic,” Kevin Hill, MD, MHS, director of addiction psychiatry at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, told Healio.com/Psychiatry.
