NEW ORLEANS — “Our vision is to make mental health care accessible,” Kouris Kalligas, CEO of Therachat, told Healio.com/Psychiatry in a video interview.

Therachat is a HIPPA-compliant smart journaling platform intended to augment mental health therapy for psychiatrists, patients, and individuals with mental health symptoms not currently receiving treatment.

The platform includes a dashboard for psychiatrists to collect patient journal data to better inform treatment decisions.

Clinicians can customize homework activities for patients, including emotion tracking and journaling.

Patients and other users with mental health symptoms complete these tasks through a mobile app, which is available for iOS and Android.
