The APA recently announced updates to its Partnership for Workplace Mental Health, including a new name, website and resources.

The Partnership is now the Center for Workplace Mental Health.

“The new name reflects the growth of our work with employers over the last decade, and helps articulate the diverse range of activities we engage in — from programs employers can implement at their companies, to collaborations with employer organizations, to resources and tools to help drive change in how mental health is addressed at the workplace,” Daniel Gillison, Jr., executive director of the APA Foundation, said in a press release.

The center provides the following resources:

  • Research on the value of employer engagement with mental health;
  • More than 60 employer case studies across various industries; and
  • Programs to be used by employers in workplaces to increase awareness and help-seeking among employees.

The new website encourages employers to take action to address the stigma of mental health in the workplace and improve mental health programs and employee mental health.
