SAMHSA updates public data system

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Association recently announced significant improvements to its public-use data analysis system.

Updates to the system, made by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Data Archive, included state data for the National Survey on Drug Use and Health Small Area Estimate, mapping and visualization tools, and a new user interface.

Clinicians can perform online analyses to create crosstabs and conduct logistic regression using the system.

Further, the system allows output and underlying data to be downloaded in .csv format.
