Overview:
Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) represents a significant disease burden in infants and young children. This monograph will review the prevalence of RSV, the seasonal and regional variability of the virus, the American Academy of Pediatrics latest guidelines for RSV immunoprophylaxis, and current and emerging immunoprophylactic measures and therapeutics.

Target Audience:
The intended audience for this activity is pediatricians, pediatric nurse practitioners, and other health care professionals involved in the treatment of infants and children.
