CHICAGO – Most optometrists do not have topographers, but they can still diagnose keratoconus, Susan J. Gromacki, OD, said at Optometry’s Meeting.
In addition to seeing certain signs at the slit lamp, ODs may hear patients say their prescription changes every year, they still cannot see 20/20, they have visited multiple providers, and they experience headaches and depression, she said.
