VIDEO: Patients report benefits of new nasal spray for dry eye
NEW ORLEANS – Oyster Point Pharmaceuticals’ recently approved nasal spray is receiving positive feedback from patients who can treat their dry eye without concerns over their contact lenses, make-up or drop delivery issues.
Oyster Point’s Jeffrey Nau, PhD, MMS, said here at SECO that Tyrvaya (varenicline solution 0.03 mg) stimulates the nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the anterior portion of the nose, which allows patients to “treat themselves with their own tear film.”
