NovaBay launches lubricating eye drops

NovaBay Pharmaceuticals announced the launch of Avenova Lubricating Eye Drops for the treatment of dry eye symptoms.
NovaBay said in a press release that the eye drops, the company’s first product launch in 2022, are part of its “science for sore eyes” three-step daily regimen aimed at helping to provide relief for symptoms related to dry eye.
The other two steps are the Avenova Warm Eye Compress to help unclog meibomian glands and the Avenova Lid & Lash Solution to help relieve chronic eye conditions such as dry eye, blepharitis, meibomian gland dysfunction, contact lens intolerance and inflammation, the company said.
“Lubricating eye drops are the first-line, go-to product for treating the symptoms of dry eye because they can provide immediate relief from the discomfort and pain that’s often associated with this common condition,” Justin Hall, CEO of NovaBay, said in the release. “With our new Lubricating Eye Drops, NovaBay now offers an over-the-counter product with a unique formulation that we expect will be a strong competitor in this attractive market.”
