NEPTUNE, N.J. — Optometrists can play a role in improving the quality of life for patients who suffer from mild traumatic brain injury, Maria Richman, OD, FAAO, said here at the New Jersey Academy of Optometry continuing education meeting.

“Millions of patients every year suffer from traumatic brain injury,” she said. “So many people out there need our help.”
