ORLANDO, Fla. – Eyeris co-founder Jeffrey Sonsino, OD, announced the launch of his new proprietary contact lens that will be available exclusively through optometrists’ offices and online by prescription.

“If the patient purchases a lens online, we know which doctor prescribed it,” and that doctors prescribing the lenses “will realize the same margin as if the patient purchased the lens in their office,” Sonsino said.

This FDA-approved lens, made of hioxifilcon A, with a proprietary base curve and diameter, will be released Jan. 1, 2020.
